Photography

I found my way into photography accidentally and I am an entirely self taught photographer.  I run a professional photography business and I feel lucky that my work is what I love to do.

Equipment I Use

Camera Body: Canon 5d and Canon Digital Rebel XTI
Lenses: All of my lenses are Canon L-Series.  The 28-70mm is my favorite lens and most used.  I also use the 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm. 
Flash: Canon Speedlight 580 EX II (and I only use it if I absolutely have to.)
Editing: I use Adobe Lightroom 3 for weddings and other big photo jobs.  The rest of the time I use Photoshop CS4.  I use a few actions from Totally Rad and Nichole Van (love her BW actions!), and a lot of custom actions.
Other: I always shoot highest quality RAW images.  I use natural light 99% of the time. I think MPIX is the best quality non-professional printer around.  And I've found that the best way to improve as a photographer is to take a lot of photos!
